Golan directs Art && Code: Interactive Arts and Mobile Telephony, a conference about the aesthetic and tactical potentials of mobile, networked and locative media. The event will feature practical, arts-oriented programming workshops for popular mobile platforms (such as the iPhone, Android, PBX systems, and SMS hacking) along with a symposium that contextualizes the use of these technologies in a variety of contemporary artistic and critical practices.

Merce's Isosurface re-interprets data from "Loops", a motion capture performance by Merce Cunningham and the OpenEnded Group.

Golan directs "ART AND CODE: Programming Environments for Artists, Young People and the Rest of Us". The conference takes place from March 7-9 on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and features hands-on workshops and a conference showcase for nine different creative toolkits -- programming languages made by artists, for artists.
